The Ode to my Love -I

"I can't take this anymore, enough is enough Rohit ", she said. "you know Sneha, that's not me, I can't be the one that you want me to be. I have my ways of doing things and I cleared on the very first day, didn't I?"

And the epic tale of Sneha and Rohit came to a point where none of them actually know, what will happen. Two years ago, they met in their office. Sneha being the most attractive of the lot has her long list of admirers, some approached her and were rejected vehemently and others didn't have the courage to approach after hearing about those who did. She was not at all interested in these things, love and relationships were as remote to her as emotions were to Rohit. On the other hand Rohit being the blunt, open and confident guy mingle up with people very easily, to be precise with girls but for him, his ego is everything, a confused personality.. I know.!! He would talk to everyone but those who don't approach him first and on the top of the list is, yes you guessed it right Sneha. He watched her for the first time after his colleague mentioned about her in front of him and how she won't talk to guys other than her cult. And the moment he has seen her, he decided that she would be the last girl on this planet whom he would approach.


"Bro, don't even look at her, she won't come to you either", Taj said, interrupting the thoughts of Rohit about Sneha. And the Punjabi mind roared. Rohit turned to Taj and said "We'll see".

"Why do you want to talk to her suddenly Ro, you know she's not your type, then why?" asked Niharika. Niharika is Rohit's bro and whenever something comes up that he can't handle Niharika is the savior.

"I want to know what is there in her that everyone is after her. You know me, don't you, she's the adventure, Niharika"

"Don't go just for the adventure, this might be a tricky one, you might hurt yourself in this adventure"
"Ohh Niharika, you know me, I don't get emotional, this will be just a maneuver to know her, no strings attached "
"You won't listen as always and will do what you think correct, but just be cautious don't hurt either of you, ok?"
"Yeah.. yeah.. I won't"
"I also said the very first day that I'm not the kind of girl who'll switch boyfriends, I told you that I want commitment and loyalty, care and comfort, love and affection... if you were not able to do that, why have you come to me, in the first place then, tell me..!!!" Sneha cried, waking Rohit up to reality.
"Don't shout, I have told you many times, calm down and let me explain"
"You told me that you will be there for me always and I believed those words", her eyes welled up with big pearls of tears.
"Not again..!!!!", Rohit thought in the mind but couldn't say so, he knows very well that he can't say anything right now, no matter how much differences they have right now but Sneha is world to him.
"I'll be there for you always.. but not in the way you or should I say your dad want me to be" Rohit said, lowering his tone this time.
"This should not go to my family Rohit, I have told you many times before, they are world to me", she roared back.
"And my respect is world to me", Rohit gives a shot back at her. "I'm nothing to you right??"
"I can say the same thing Rohit"
"Let's end it..!!! Right Now..!! We both can live in peace then", Rohit with a stern face replied.
Sneha couldn't utter a word, her throat choked as if somebody has blocked her windpipe. "END IT????", She asked with a deep heavy tone...
